Stranded is a challenging singleplayer survival game set on a deserted island where players must gather resources, build structures, and survive against the elements. The ultimate objective of the game is to escape the island by building a radio tower that can transmit a distress signal.
Players start with only basic tools and a limited supply of resources. They must scavenge for food, water, and building materials while also avoiding dangerous wildlife and extreme weather conditions. As they progress, players can build resource miners and extractors to gather resources automatically, freeing up time for exploration and other tasks. These machines collect resources such as wood, stone, and metal ore, which can be used to build more advanced structures and tools.
Players can establish a base of operations that serves as a shelter from the elements and a safe haven from wildlife. Bases can be expanded and customized with various structures such as walls, roofs, and windows, providing protection and comfort for the player.
However, players must also navigate the dangers of the island, including the remnants of an ancient alien civilization. Some robots left behind by the aliens can provide valuable resources and technology to aid in the player's survival efforts, while others may be hostile if provoked.
Throughout the game, players must balance their survival needs with their long-term goal of escaping the island. They must manage their resources wisely, construct defenses against threats, and explore the island to find clues and items that will help them achieve their ultimate objective.
Stranded offers an immersive and challenging gameplay experience, requiring strategic planning, resource management, and survival skills. Players will find themselves lost in the adventure of trying to escape the island and uncovering the mysteries left behind by the ancient alien civilization.
